What was a first milestone you reached in this role as a designer?
We started from scratch with a new line that was a complete departure from canons of the Bisentino collection. Being able to fulfill orders on this new part of the collection was very satisfying and, in some ways, a welcomed surprise.
What kind of fabrics do you like to create? What are your sources of inspiration?
Creating sustainable and at the same time contemporary fabrics is what I love and try to do every day, mixing all types of fabrics and finishing technologies. All this while meeting the needs of the customer and the order history.
What are your future aspirations as a designer? What materials would you like to work on in the future?
My aspirations are undoubtedly the growth of the company and expansion of the sales markets.
How do you see the fashion sector 10 years from now? What, in your opinion, will be the great future trends?
There will be a greater demand for sustainable and recycled fabrics. I believe that with the use of new technologies we will be able to make the most of resources, such as electricity and water, making our production and finishing cycles more effective.
